Pastor Monarque delva

Associate Pastor

Monarque Delva, The ordained pastor was born and raised in Haiti in a Christian family. At the age of 18, the Lord revealed Himself to him and he decided to give his life to Christ as his Lord and Savior. After his conversion, like many young people, Monarque found himself drifting away from the path of God. However, by God’s grace, mercy, and Spirit, he forged a deeper relationship with Him and is the servant he is today. Glory to the Lord!

As Monarque continues to walk with the Lord, he has begun to see the shaping, restoring, transforming, and direct divine hand of the Lord working in his life. During this time, he has felt a deep sense of calling to the ministry of the Gospel. God’s call on his life wasn’t just something he felt inwardly, but it was also confirmed by both brothers and sisters and spiritual leaders in the church, including those who were not closed to him.

Monarque’s soon to be ministry journey with the Lord was clearly confirmed when he began receiving invitations to speak in the organized churches to preach the Word of God. At that point, it became clear to him that it was indeed God’s call, and all he had to say was, “Here I am, [the Lord] send me” (Isaiah 6:8). This decision to accept the Lord’s call to be His ambassador to the world of sin, violence, insecurity, despair, and confusion was the first step in a long and arduous journey.

Monarque realized that for such a daunting task of serving the Almighty God, he needed to continue his education as the first step in equipping himself for ministry. He began his post-high school education at Bunker Hill Community College and then transferred to UMass where he continued his academic education.

In addition to his academic studies, he pursued theological studies, studying online with Ligonier Ministries under Dr. R.C. Sproul and with Grace to You under Dr. John MacArthur, where he gained valuable insight and spiritual enrichment. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In Monarque’s role as Associate Minister at Source of Light International Church, he’s been blessed with the opportunity to serve in many capacities, including preaching for the past eight years, teaching baptism classes to new members, leading Bible studies, and encouraging.

Monarque is also a radio show host alongside Reverend Jean Sainphar and Maestro Jean Joseph Normil on various stations, spreading the message of hope and salvation to a wide audience.

Monarque is deeply humbled by God’s call and grateful to everyone, especially Pastor Miguel Chery, who shared his pulpit with him and accepted him as a member of the church he leads. Glory to the Lord!
